The Committee having taken the Premises into there several considerable<lb></lb>
use (Nomicon) of opinion that to oath a General Court for the<obscured></obscured>
<lb></lb>
purpose of examining the proceedings of a General Court as who By<lb></lb>
without President in the Proceedings of the Hospital</p>
<p n="512">That to call a General Court for the special purpose attended to on<lb></lb>
the first Letter may create great annuities amongst the Governors<lb></lb>
and lend ultimately to enquire this Charity.</p>
<p n="513">That Dr. Her appears to the Committee to have been duly elected<lb></lb>
Physician to this Hospital and hath<obscured></obscured>
his Charge accordingly<lb></lb>
and has been in the Peaceable possession of his Office several months<lb></lb>
during which time he has conducted himself with Fed<obscured></obscured>
Diligence<lb></lb>
and Ability.</p>
<p n="514">That after the Ballett was found to be equal and previous<lb></lb>
to the De<obscured></obscured>
m of his being elected the Objection now verged was<lb></lb>
Started and debated on the General Court (althought afer only attended<lb></lb>
the conclusion of fthe business) but it was then unanimously aquainted<lb></lb>
in and agreed that the President had on undoubted right to a casting<lb></lb>
Vote and he gave it for Dr Keer.</p>
<p n="515">That it is proper to inform the Governors in general that the<lb></lb>
Annual expences of this Hospital for many years past have<lb></lb>
exceeded its income by some thousand pounds which have been<lb></lb>
supplied by Donations and Lega<obscured></obscured>

and it is much to be<lb></lb>
apprehended that any thing tending to interrupt the Present<lb></lb>
Harmony subsisting may prove detrimental to such resources</p>
<p n="516">That for the above reasons this Committee doth recommend<lb></lb>
to the President to consult the peace and welfare of this Charity<lb></lb>
and not to disturb it by conforming to any unprecedented.<lb></lb>
Requisitions At the same time Flattering themselves that these<lb></lb>
reasons when duty considered will have some Wright and cause those<lb></lb>
<rs type="occupation" id="LMTHMC55205_occ47">Gentleman</rs>
<interp inst="LMTHMC55205_occ47" type="occupation" value="Gentleman"></interp>
who have applied to the President to call a General<lb></lb>
Court to view the matter in a different light But if they should<lb></lb>
not and still age their request the Committee do advise the President<lb></lb>
to re consider it.</p>

That a Copy of these Minutes and also of the Minute<lb></lb>
