<p n="1686">In Answer to your letter of the 18th: July last<lb></lb>
enquiry has been made concerning Mr. Chatbourn and you, and <lb></lb>
Mr. Treasurer is convinced that Mr. Chatbourn has done his Duty<lb></lb>
to the Hospital; and therefore will support him. He will allow<lb></lb>
you to trees you ask; if Mr. Chatbourn thinks it right. I hope<lb></lb>
for the future there will be no more Complaints. I have wrote<lb></lb>
by this Post to Mr. Chatbourn by the Treasurer's order to lett<lb></lb>
him know that He is Satisfied with his Conduct and will<lb></lb>
support him in his Office so long as he acts properly</p>

I have wrote by this Post to Mr: Sankey to let him know<lb></lb>
Mr: Treasurer will support you in every thing that is<lb></lb>
right: and that He is convinced you have acted no otherwise<lb></lb>
I have also informed him that the Treasurer will allow<lb></lb>
him. the Trees he asks for; if you approve of his having<lb></lb>
them: If you do not, and think it fitt they shod: be cutt<lb></lb>
down, you may sell them for the Hospitals use I hope<lb></lb>
when you come to town every thing will be agreeable to<lb></lb>
you.</p>
