<p n="1680">Sir<lb></lb>
Mr: Treasurer has recd: a Letter from<lb></lb>
Mr: Sankey dated the 18th: Inst: in which he expresses a<lb></lb>
Surprize at a Letter I wrote him some time since relating<lb></lb>
to your Complaint of his threatening you for Coming on<lb></lb>
his Premisses. and says he never used any other words to<lb></lb>
you on any Accot: than that you Mark'd knotty Timber<lb></lb>
which was not fitt to make Barrs & Gates of and that<lb></lb>
he thought you used him ill in it: If that is the<lb></lb>
truth I think you did wrong in making the Complaint<lb></lb>
to me which you did and ought to clear it up. He desires<lb></lb>
the large Elm Tree which he wrote for in Jany: 1764, which<lb></lb>
he says is hollow and he expects every high wind it will be<lb></lb>
blown on the Stable or Waggon. lodge. He also as he for<lb></lb>
a Wallnutt tree which was blown down last year and he<lb></lb>
says did him 7s or 8d damage, The Treasurer's Answer is<lb></lb>
that if you think it fitt & reasonable he may have<lb></lb>
them</p>
