On Mr. Dawsons Application to the Gd. Comee of the Govrs. of<lb></lb>
ye Hostpl. on yr. behalf They granted you a lease of the premisses in<lb></lb>
the Old Bailey, which is Engrossed accordingly. And now Mr. Dawson<lb></lb>
Claims an Allowance of a Yrs: Rent on pretence of the delay in granting<lb></lb>
the lease, And on that Accot. refuses to pay me the Rent. I therefore<lb></lb>
by order of the Treasurer am to Acquaint you that it is expected<lb></lb>
that you direct Mr. Dawson to pay the Rent forth with. And you<lb></lb>
are desired to let me know how the Counterpart of the lease is to<lb></lb>
be Conveyed to you to be Executed on the return of which it shall<lb></lb>
be exchanged for the Original. On making the Agreement, Mr:<lb></lb>
Dawson refused to give to the Poors box (which is done by all who<lb></lb>
take leases of the Hospital) Suggesting your disinclination to do<lb></lb>
a Charitable Act, which the Committee are much Surpriz'd at<lb></lb>
