Your Letter of 25th Febry last acquainting me<lb></lb>
of the Damage done to your premisses by the late high<lb></lb>
Wind amountg to £80 has this day been<gap reason="illegible"></gap>
taken into<lb></lb>
Consideration by the Gd. Comee of the Govrs. of this Hosptl. And<lb></lb>
also the Report of the Survey taken last Week by the<lb></lb>
Persons who was down there wherein the Damage<lb></lb>
done is said to Amount to no more than £50. at the<lb></lb>
very Utmost, towards which last mentiond Sum the<lb></lb>
Commee have Resolved to make You a considerable<lb></lb>
AllowanceThe 3 elm Trees which you have<lb></lb>
unwarrantably Cut down, they are determin'd to make<lb></lb>
you Pay for them, and you may think Your self well<lb></lb>
off that you escape their Resentment so easy<lb></lb>
The Tree that was blown down you are here expressly<lb></lb>
Order'd by the said Commee to Draw it form where it<lb></lb>
now lays, to some place of Security on your Promisses,<lb></lb>
and this as soon as possible, they being thoroughly<lb></lb>

I am inform'd by Mr. Seabrooke Tenant to this<lb></lb>
Hospital for Lands at Masworth of an encroachment<lb></lb>
made by You on part of the said Lands by your ploughing<lb></lb>
ass & laying it to your own notwithstanding he hath<lb></lb>
told you of it several times but it has hitherto been<lb></lb>
to no manner of purpose you stillpersisting in what<lb></lb>
you have so donein Consequence of which the<lb></lb>
Matter is now come before the Grand Committee of the Govs.<lb></lb>
of this Hosptl. by whom I am Orderd to write that in Case,<lb></lb>
you don't immediately give Satisfaction to the said Mr.<lb></lb>
Seabrock by rests ring the Land so encroach'd, and<lb></lb>
making him all the Acknowledgement wch. he shall require<lb></lb>
for the time you have so unjustly detained the same<lb></lb>
an Action will be commenced against you, & this without<lb></lb>
any further Notice</p>
