of Governors of this Hospital I am to Acquaint You that<lb></lb>
unless You (on the Receipt of this Letter) Settled his Account<lb></lb>
of the Rent & Allow the Land tax according to the Terms of<lb></lb>
the Lease You will by prosecuted with the utmost Rigour<lb></lb>
in order to Compell You to Do Justice</p>

In Answer to Yrs. of the 9th. inst. I am to acquaint<lb></lb>
Yo. that in the Years 1750. 51. & 52 the Land tax was rated at<lb></lb>
3s in the pound And in 1753. 4 & 5 at 2s. which intitles the<lb></lb>
Hospital to £45. as appears by Mr Aldwin's Agreemt.<lb></lb>
And which Sum the Gd Comee expect You will order to be<lb></lb>
paid as soon as conveniently you can<lb></lb>

who has order'd was to write for Answer that he is of Opinion<lb></lb>
the Cottage & Land held by Taylor is well worth £5. a year for<lb></lb>
any man to take & do the Repairs himselfbut before a<lb></lb>
final Answer be given You are desired to sent an Estimate<lb></lb>
of the Repairs together with Your Opinion whether it is necessary<lb></lb>
to keep up the Cottage for if not, the Land may let for almost<lb></lb>
as much without it<lb></lb>
