of a Proposal for taking as Lease of the Colliery at Tibshelfe And in order<lb></lb>
to enable the Govrs. to form a Judgemt. on what Terms it may be proper to<lb></lb>
Grant such a Lease Mr Treasr: desires You will enquire into the<del>Abilities</del>

Characters of the Proposers with regard to their Abilities & Integrity,<lb></lb>
& get the best Information You can of the Nature of such, Agreemts. by<lb></lb>
consulting some Persons well acquainted with them & that has been engaged<lb></lb>
in such Works, but not now concern'd in any Colliery; and that you would<lb></lb>
likewise consider whether it would be to the Advantage or Disadvantage<lb></lb>
of the Hospl. Tents: at Tibshelfe or in what manner it may affection:<lb></lb>
All which Mr Treasr: doubts not you will do in as secret & prudent<lb></lb>
