I reced yors: of the 5th: of June last, wherein you advise the<lb></lb>
Gentleman concerned in the Eltisley Estate to defer the making a<lb></lb>
Seisure till the Harvest be got in, the Dung carried out & the Land<lb></lb>
fellow'd: as this is the time of the year when these things are generally<lb></lb>
done, the Governors of both House desire you will not let slip this<lb></lb>
Opportunity of securing the whole Rent due, which will be four years &<lb></lb>
half at Michaelmas next. I desire the favour of an Answer by the first<lb></lb>
Conveniency with an Account of the Quantity of the Lands, what Crops<lb></lb>
the Tenants have had, & whether you are treating with any other Person<lb></lb>
or Persons about taking the Farmes.</p>

I am glad to find by yors: of the 7th inst: that you think the Rents<lb></lb>
safe which is due from the Eltisley Tents: but desire to know year<lb></lb>
Reason for mentioning the ordering some Attorney to seise on Gregory's<lb></lb>
Effects, for I suppose you have a Letter of Attorney from the Gentlemen<lb></lb>
to Receive the Rents, & consequently a proper Authority to seize, if you<lb></lb>
have not such a Power you will let me know, that it may be sent<lb></lb>
