for unlawfully using on the Turnpike Road in the<lb></lb>
said Parish a Waggon the Fellies of the Wheels whereof<lb></lb>
being of the breadth of Six Inches having more than six horses<lb></lb>
that is to say, seven Horses drawing the same contrary to the<lb></lb>
Statute Etc. That on the<gap reason="illegible"></gap>
4th day of March 1799 now last past<lb></lb>
Your Petitioner went on business to Hertford and did not return<lb></lb>
home until the 10th of the same Month & Year in the evening when he found he had<lb></lb>
been summoned and convicted for the said supposed Offence<lb></lb>
altho by reason of such his absence he had had no oppor-<lb></lb>
tunity of appearing to depend himself Against the said<lb></lb>
charge by reason of which Premises Your Petitioner<lb></lb>
conceives himself Aggireved</p>
<p n="573">Your Petitioner therefore humbly appeals<lb></lb>
against the said Conviction and Prays Your Worships<lb></lb>
will appoint a day in the Present Session for the hearing<lb></lb>
and determining of this Your Petitioners Appeal: And your<lb></lb>
