Year of our Lord 1798 aforesaid lent and advanced by him upon a certain Pawn or<lb></lb>
Pledge that is to say a Silk Handkerchief to the said <rs type="persName" id="LMSMPS50953_n1212-1">Nathaniel Tranter</rs>

in the name of<lb></lb>
J. Taylor the said Sum of One Penny so demanded received and taken as aforesaid<lb></lb>
being more than at and after the rate of Four pence for the loan of Twenty shillings by the<lb></lb>
Calender Month including the current Month in which the said Pawn or Pledge was<lb></lb>
redeemed contrary to the form of the Statute in such case made and provided whereby<lb></lb>
and by force of the said Statute the Petitioner had forfeited for his said Offence the Sum of Five<lb></lb>
Pounds and that He was on the hearing of the said Information adjudged by the said<lb></lb>
Justice to forfeit and pay the Sum of Five Pounds: whereby the Petitioner conceived himself<lb></lb>
aggrieved: which said Appeal stood duly adjourned unto this day Now upon<lb></lb>
hearing the said Appeal and what hath been alledged by the respective Eparties their Counsel<lb></lb>
and Witnesses in and concerning the Premises It is Ordered that the said<lb></lb>
Conviction be and the same is hereby Affirmed</p>
