<p n="626">being made on the fifteenth day of December 1797 and is stated to be the Second Rate<lb></lb>
or Assessment at One Shilling and three pence in the Pound for the then present Year<lb></lb>
Whereas the said Rate or Assessment was at the time of the making thereof<lb></lb>
understood by the Inhabitants in Vestry assembled to be and according to the Custom of<lb></lb>
the said Parish in point of Fact ought to have been a Rate commencing at Michaelmas<lb></lb>
Day 1797 and ending at Lady Day 1798.</p>
<p n="627">That at the time of making the said Rate or Assessment of the said fifteenth<lb></lb>

<p n="629">Whereas your Petitioners apprehend that the said <rs type="persName" id="LMSMPS50946_n629-1">James Trebeck</rs>

in and by the said Rate or Assessment at Three hundred Pounds for his Vicarial<lb></lb>
Tythes as Vicar of the said Parish.</p>
<p n="630">That at the time of making the said Rate or Assessment and previous thereto<lb></lb>
the said James Trebeck was in the Receipt of certain Dues obventions oblations and<lb></lb>
offerings due and payable to him as Vicar of the said Parish Church amounting<lb></lb>
to One hundred Pounds per Annum and liable to be rated and assessed to the Relief<lb></lb>
of the Poor of the said Parish and that he ought to have been rated and<lb></lb>
assessed for the same Whereas in and by the said Rate or Assessment the said<lb></lb>
James Trebeck is not rated in any Sum of Money or in any manner whatsoever<lb></lb>
for such Dues obventions oblations and offerings.</p>

rated and assessed for the said Houses severally and respectively as the Occupiers thereof<lb></lb>

<p n="632">That in and by the said Rate or Assessment a certain House is charged<lb></lb>
at ten Pounds as follows, "10 - Occupier" without the Amount of the Assessment being<lb></lb>
placed against the same Whereas your Petitioners apprehend that the Amount of such<lb></lb>
Assessment ought to have been placed against such Sum of Ten Pounds at the Rate<lb></lb>
of One Shilling and three pence in the Pound on the said Ten Pounds to the<lb></lb>
Occupier of the said House.</p>
