charging that your Petitioner<lb></lb>
being a Person using and excercising the Trade and business of a<lb></lb>
Pawn broker at Shorts Gardens in the said County on the second<lb></lb>
day of July now last past at shorts Gardens aforesaid did take<lb></lb>
and receive of and from one <rs type="persName" id="LMSMPS50929_n36-99">Esther Dale</rs>

<interp inst="LMSMPS50929_n36-99" type="surname" value="Dale"></interp>

a certain Pledge to wit a<lb></lb>
Ring upon which your Petitioner did then and there and the<lb></lb>
Sum of Three Shillings and six pence and at the time of taking the<lb></lb>
said Pledge did neglect and refuse to give to the said Esther Dale<lb></lb>
a Note or Memorandum as directed by the statute in that case<lb></lb>
made and provided and did receive and retain the said Pledge <lb></lb>
without the said Esther Dale accepting or taking the said note<lb></lb>
or Memorandum contrary to the form of the said Statute</p>
<p n="37">That your Petitioner conceives himself agrieved by<lb></lb>
such Conviction and is advised to appeal against the same</p>
<p n="38">Your Petitioner therefore humbly prays<lb></lb>
your worships will be pleased to permit him<lb></lb>
to enter his appeal so that the same may be heard <lb></lb>
at this present General Session of the Peace in and<lb></lb>
for the said County and that your Worships will<lb></lb>
appoint a day for hearing and determining<lb></lb>
the same.</p>
<p n="39">And your Petitioner as in duty<lb></lb>
