and impotent and not able to work and that he had applied to the<lb></lb>
parishioners of the said parish or to the Overseers of the poor of the said<lb></lb>
parish for relief but had been refused. That the petitioner had been summoned<lb></lb>
before the said Justices to shew cause why such relief should not be given but<lb></lb>
had not made any sufficient cause appear The said Justices therefore<lb></lb>
ordered the Churchwardens and Overseers of the poor of the said Parish to<lb></lb>
enter the said <rs type="persName" id="LMSMPS50915_n1407-3">Thomas Harpur</rs>

an Inn keeper and in very afflicent circumstances and able to afford<lb></lb>
assistance to her aged and infirm Father and to prevent his receiving<lb></lb>
relief from or being a burthen upon the said Parish. The Petitioner had<lb></lb>
frequently applied to the said Elizabeth Coxhead to repay him what he had<lb></lb>
expended and paid as Oveseer aforesaid to the said <rs type="persName" id="LMSMPS50915_n1407-7">Thomas Harpur</rs>
