Ten Shillings per week, and he said he was very sorry<lb></lb>
to put his Informant to an Inconvenience by taking a<lb></lb>
single room, but if pre found her and her Husband<lb></lb>
agreeable People he should most probably remain these<lb></lb>
is long as th lived. The Prisoner told her he had a<lb></lb>
large Chest of Family plate and Linen comming from the<lb></lb>
Country, and that he would at any time lend her Linen<lb></lb>
if she wanted it, and would find his won Linen, The<lb></lb>
Prisoner came to the Lodging about 3 o'Clock in the Afternoon<lb></lb>
and made himself very agreeable, talking much of religion<lb></lb>
and religious Duties and Joined with the Family in worship<lb></lb>
that Evening and the next morning. that the next<lb></lb>
Morning as soon as the Informant Husband was gone to<lb></lb>
the Bank the Prisoner asked to speak with her alone, she went<lb></lb>
with him to the dining Room, when after walking to and<lb></lb>
fro' and singing a bit of a Hippn to himself told her she<lb></lb>
expected his Chest that Morning to arrive in <rs type="placeName" id="LMSMPS50914_geo182">Shoreditch</rs>

he had bestowed a great deal of Money in a Law Suit<lb></lb>
which he had in hand and was guite short in Money not<lb></lb>
having so much as would pay for the carriage of his Chest<lb></lb>
and desired her to lend him a few Shillings, she felt in her<lb></lb>
Pocket and found she had only 2/6 which she lent him,-<lb></lb>
out the Prisoner seeming much distressed, and thinking that <lb></lb>
he was a very good Man, she sent out and borrowed half</p>
