(Mr wright)- Mr Crockford we demand a shilling of your.<lb></lb>
He answered for whatWright answered for distressed<lb></lb>
Children upon which he Paid Wright one shillingone<lb></lb>
of the Prisoners wrote it down in a Book and Promised to<lb></lb>
send a Bill next dayIn conversation with the Prisoners<lb></lb>
he said he himself had a distressed Child which he had<lb></lb>
taken in out of Charity, upon which the Prisoners said if<lb></lb>
he would send it they would take care of it.</p>

came to his House Yesterday Morning and asked if he<lb></lb>
would give a shilling as his Neighbour had done (Holden<lb></lb>
asked the question) for the Philanthropic SocietyThis<lb></lb>
Informant said he did not understand their coming in<lb></lb>
this way, upon which they read over a List of Subscription<lb></lb>
of the Neighbours, some of whom he knew, upon which he<lb></lb>
said he had no objection to contribute his mite if he thought<lb></lb>
ir was doing goodThis Informant gave them a shilling<lb></lb>
upon which they shewed him a Plan, which they promised<lb></lb>
to Leave with him the next day.</p>
