this Appeal Arise out of the Examination as stated by the Parties to have been given on Oath before the Majestrates<lb></lb>
andon which the Order of removal is founded And the mother first States these fasts That in the month of<lb></lb>

Illigitimate Child in Question That being very near her lying in she was removed on the 10th. of August 1787.<lb></lb>

and there she was in three days after Vizt. 13th. August 1787 delivered of the Child<lb></lb>
That the lodging was provided by Mr Collins the Father for this express purpose That she continued so Ill during<lb></lb>
the whole time she was there (which was only one Month) that she does not perfectly recollect all the circumstances<lb></lb>
Bur she recollects perfectly that she was taken to and from the House by night and that it was in the month of<lb></lb>
August 1787 and that the Child will be 7 years Old next August That the Child was taken from her within the<lb></lb>

These she says are the Facts to which<lb></lb>
she has Sworn before the JusticesIt appears on a Subsequent Conversation with the Woman by the Officers<lb></lb>
or the Parish of Saint Mary Staining That she is very in correct in her Account It is extra ordinary that she<lb></lb>
should be so positive to the house having been brought there by night extreemly Ill and never out of the house<lb></lb>
till taken away in another Coach by night at the end of a Month On being questioned as to what room she<lb></lb>
was In she first says the one Pair of Stairs but being told that was not probable She says she believes the<lb></lb>
2 pair the Garrett on being answered the Garrett was three pair Stairs She answers she was so Ill she cod.<lb></lb>
not Recollect Upon her being asked if the Child was Christned she says not but was half Baptized by the<lb></lb>

much her Credibility And added there to is the positive Contradiction as to her having been delivered of a Child<lb></lb>

there is the positive Testimony of Mr. Hallpike and his wife that no such circumstance ever happened at<lb></lb>
their HouseThen it is impossible the Child being under 7 Years of Age & more than we cod. have been born in the House<lb></lb>
