The Chairman informed the Court that since the last<lb></lb>
Session, to wit an the 20th. day of August last, the first<lb></lb>
stone of the New intended Session House for this County<gap reason="illegible"></gap>

was laid by his grace the Duke of Northum berland<lb></lb>

at the request and in<lb></lb>

appointed for building the said Session House that for performing<lb></lb>

the Duke had provided, at his own exepence<lb></lb>
a Mallet made of Silver, and that immediately after<lb></lb>
the Caremony was over his Grace had in the most solite<lb></lb>
and obliging manner delivered the said Mallet to<lb></lb>

of the peace</rs>
