<p n="568">The Defendant was indicted for as Assault on the Prosecutor in the September Sessions 1774<lb></lb>
& tried on the 17th. of that Month found guilty and refusing to enter into a general release<lb></lb>

both been applied to by Letter from Mr. Oyles Deputy Clk of the peace Informing them<lb></lb>
(Nisi) their recognizance's would be Estreated</p>
<p n="570">The Bail in this matter (both Ignorant of the Consequences of<lb></lb>
being so) have not with drawn the recognizances & within this for might Mr. Hinde<gap reason="illegible"></gap>
<lb></lb>
died: Mr. Casheer now left alone<obscured></obscured>
a Man with a large Family of Children & an<lb></lb>
Ailing Wife not knowing by what means to extricate himself from the present difficulty<lb></lb>
nor able to gather any satisfactory advice relative thereto is desirous the Court may be<lb></lb>
moved in this Matter as the only certain rule by which he may guide himself</p>
<p n="571">On this State of the Caser your Motion to the Court is requested that Mr. Casheer the<lb></lb>
Surviving Bail may in same reasonable sort be discharg'd from this Matter & whether<lb></lb>
to that Indit's Necessary the Defendant should be surrendered & how same most be done<lb></lb>
the Expences falling on once Ma<obscured></obscured>
he unable to bear it you are desir'd to be particular<lb></lb>
as to the Costs & what could Occassion the Defendant's being discharged in the manner<lb></lb>
above & whether that was not a discharge to the Bail</p>
