County appointed to Enquire into the method of conveying Vagrants out of the<lb></lb>

or any other plan for conveying Vagrants out of the said County may best answer the<lb></lb>

<p n="866">The said Committee report</p>
<p n="867">That having taken into consideration the reference to this Committee made<lb></lb>
on the County day of April Session last (vizt.) to Enquire into the method of conveying<lb></lb>
Vagrants out of the <rs type="placeName" id="LMSMPS50645_geo743">County of Middlesex</rs>

and to consider and report their Opinion<lb></lb>
whether the present or any other plan for conveying Vagrants out of the said County<lb></lb>
may best answer the publick purpose and be most beneficial the County the Committee<lb></lb>
proceeded to read<gap reason="illegible"></gap>
several Clauses in the Vagrant Act (vizt.) the Catterpart of<lb></lb>
Sr. 7 the whole of S. 8. 10 & 11 concerning the manner of passing different sorts of<lb></lb>
Vagabonds, when the Duplicate of the pass and examination are to be returned and bye<lb></lb>
whom, how the Justices are to regulate the passes, and the Duty of the Officers with regard to<lb></lb>
such Passes, The Committee read also the report of former Committee made the twenty fifth<lb></lb>
day of April 1757 concerning the expence arising to the County from the apprehending and<lb></lb>
passing Vagrants Etc. and likewise the Orders of Session of the fourteenth of July 1757<lb></lb>
thereon And Moreover and Order of Session of the first March 1759 made on as report<lb></lb>
of a Committee appointed to examine what benefit had arisen to the County from<gap reason="illegible"></gap>
the Order<lb></lb>
