It you should of Opinion that Mr. Waller or Mr. Butler ought to return<lb></lb>
the Estreat Can Mr. Jefferson excuse himself therefrom by quitting his<lb></lb>
Employment as Deputy, by which he will divest himself of all Trust and<lb></lb>
right to the use of the records necessary for the completion thereof.</p>

Is the Person making these Estreats Obliged to take the Oath prescribed<lb></lb>
"that they are truly and carefully made up and Examined. And that all Fines Etc<lb></lb>
"which were set Etc. And in right and in due Course of Law ought to be<lb></lb>
"Estreated, are to the best of his knowledge and understanding therein<lb></lb>
"contained And that [positively] in the same Estreat are contained and<lb></lb>
"Expressed all such Fines as have been Paid unto Court without any Wilfull<lb></lb>
"or fraudulent discharge Omission Misnomer or defect whatsoever" If he is<lb></lb>
at the same Time satisfied that the materials where of the Estreat is made up is defective in<lb></lb>
many instances; And<obscured></obscured>
particularly as it does not thereby appear that any one Fine was paid<lb></lb>
into Court Altho in Conscience he believes many were. or can the Oath be<lb></lb>
varied to Suit this particular Case or dispensed with.</p>
