in this County Razor maker Hath at this Present Session Exhibited his Petition Setting forth That the<lb></lb>
Petitioner was by Indenture bearing date the Tenth day of may<lb></lb>
One thousand Seven hundred and Sixty four bound Apprentice to the<lb></lb>
said John Marcchaux with him to serve from the Ninth day of April<lb></lb>
then last for the Term of seven Years That in Pursuance of the said<lb></lb>
Indenture the Petitioner from the time of the Execution there of did<lb></lb>
live with and serve the said John Marcchaux as his apprentice<lb></lb>
Honestly Orderly and saith fully and to the Utmost of his power<lb></lb>
and ability until the time of the death of the said John Marcchaux<lb></lb>
which happend some time in the month of November One thousand<lb></lb>
seven hundred and sixty six That notwithstanding the Petitioners<lb></lb>
apprenticeship was (as he was advised and believes) determined by the<lb></lb>
Death of his said Master the Petitioner had nevertheless from and<lb></lb>
since the death of his said Master continued to live with and serve<lb></lb>

by means of the Cruelty and ill usage theretofore used and exercised by<lb></lb>
the said Mary Marcchaux to the Petitioner and of her threatenings<lb></lb>
and menances of worse for the future the Petitioner was Oblidged to<lb></lb>
Quit the service of the said Mary Marcchaux That the said Mary<lb></lb>
Marcchaux hath by her Attorney and otherwise threaten to force the<lb></lb>
Petitioner back again into her service by methods of law and thereby<lb></lb>
praying</p>
