desirous that Petr: shod be discharged from her apprenticeship</p>

That Petr: hath been frequently sent out on Errands late at Nights where by she was Exposed to<lb></lb>
the Several Accidents that happen in the Streets</p>
<p n="421">That Petr: hath been ill used & Corrected beyond the Measure of any Indiscretion she was Guilty of</p>

That Petrs: Mistress having at one time Alledged that she had last two Guineas taxed Petr: with having<lb></lb>
taken them & upon Petrs: denying it her Mistress wanted her to go before a Magistrate & Confess she had<lb></lb>
taken them to prevent as she said Petrs: being Committed.</p>
<p n="423">For the above reasons Petr prays that she may be discharged from<lb></lb>
her sd <rs type="occupation" id="LMSMPS50587_occ138">Apprenticeship</rs>

and that the Court wod make such further<lb></lb>
Oreder in the premisses as shod seem Inst.</p>
<p n="424">First Order for hearing for 19th May Adjourned to 7th July further adjd: to 8th Septr:</p>
<p n="425">The Indre is Admitted to be dated as in Petn: & in the Comon form but as the binding is but for Five Years<lb></lb>
It's Apprehended that it is not Srech a binding as is directed by the 5th of Elizth which ought to be for 7 years so<lb></lb>
that this binding may be Considered only as a Private agreement between the Parties And if it sho'd be<lb></lb>
so Considered then it's Apprehended that the Court have not a Power to hear or determine any thing Concerning<lb></lb>
it But if the Court shod be of opinion that they have a power to hear & determine it We Answer the Several<lb></lb>
Charges in the Petition as follows</p>
<p n="426">As to the Religion it's admitted to be as in Petn: But it Certainly must have been known to both<lb></lb>
the Appr & her father before the appr was bound for that she was Six weeks on liking before binding and<lb></lb>
Consequently must know in that time what Religion her master & Mistress were and when the appr<lb></lb>
first came on liking her father asked Mrs Carey if the appr was to go to Church with her Mrs Carey Answered<lb></lb>
