<p n="48">This Informant Saith that he lives at Working near Winslow in Bucks, and that he set out from London to go home to his<lb></lb>
House at Wooving last Monday the 23d Inst. about 2 or 3 of Clock in the Afternoon with his Higling Cart Which was drawn by<lb></lb>
two Horses. And that he arrived at Uxbridge in Middx on that Day (Monday) in the Evening about 8 o'Clock and Put up (as he Usually<lb></lb>

Cast was Loaded when it Came to Uxbridge with Coals, Empty Hen Coops, Fish Lemons & Orangy and Sunday other things,Also with<lb></lb>
a Sugar Loaf which cast him Eighteen Shillings which he bought on that Day (Monday) of a Mr. Carey a Grocer near Newgate<lb></lb>
Sheet in London, And the Said Joseph Stevingshed Also in his Said Cart at the Same time 4 Fresh Cod, which cost him 9d Each<lb></lb>
Also 13 in Lemons and 7 China Oranges; And that in his way home at Wendover (but not before) he Missed the Sugar Loaf<lb></lb>
and two Fish, and when he arrived at Ayles bury on Examination his goods he Missed the other two Fish, the 13 Lemons and<lb></lb>

on Saturday last at Night (being Yesterday at Night the 28th Inst. (about one o'Clock in the Night of the Same day When<lb></lb>
Joseph Steving arrived at Mr Farmer's on Ye Saturday Night the 28th Inst he went to Bed. And on the Marrow being this<lb></lb>
Day Sunday the 29th March in the Morning about 9 o'Clock he Saw a Man one James Saffill who is now (& has been for Some time Past)<lb></lb>
a Housekeeper belonging to the Yard of Mr.Farmer's House when Joseph Stevings Partner Mr Paul George made Complaint<lb></lb>
to the Said Housekeeper James Saffill telling him has Cart had been robb'd of Goods. The Said James Saffill reflied he<lb></lb>
Cou'd give him Information who had robb'd the Cart which he accordingly did, And Said he wou'd be ready to make Oath that<lb></lb>
