pint and a half of Purulet matter. There was no Adhesion<lb></lb>
of the Lungs as this side a piece of them being put into Water<lb></lb>
it was Scarsely Supported thereby, On the left Side of the Chest<lb></lb>
the Fifth and Sixth Ribbs were broken and the Pleura<lb></lb>
which made the living of the parts of the bones which were<lb></lb>
fractured was very thin and had several little holes in it, There<lb></lb>
was a little thick matter between the fractured part of each Bone<lb></lb>
and a little matter seem'd mixt with so me bloody Serum which<lb></lb>
lay loose in the cavity of this side of the Chest. About the<lb></lb>
place of the Wound on the <rs type="occupation" id="LMSMPS50534_occ32">Head the Scalp</rs>

was seperated from the<lb></lb>
Bone about the Size of an Ooal whose greatest Diameter is<lb></lb>
two Inches and an half and do Traverse Diameter is one Inch &<lb></lb>
an half. The bone being removed Matter appeared upon the<lb></lb>
Dura Mater which was under the Bone which had been<lb></lb>
Injured and also upon the Pia Mater and the Brain was<lb></lb>
of a dark Colour as tho it had been enflamed. All the parts<lb></lb>
within the Skall which appeared diseased were immediately<lb></lb>
within the part which reced the external Injury. From all<lb></lb>
the Circumstances which me have been able to Collect</p>
