for about a Month last past, says that abt. a fortnight agoe<lb></lb>
he this Informant having occasion to Borrow a little Money<lb></lb>
asked the said Susannah if she cou'd lend him two or three<lb></lb>
Guineas, that she told him she had not a halfpenny in the<lb></lb>

Spoon and brought it to this Informt. at the Foot of the Stairs<lb></lb>
in the House of the said Cleghorn, which this Informt. received<lb></lb>
says she then desired this Informt. to go up stairs to see a<lb></lb>
Chimney Glass which was Broke and a couple of new Packing<lb></lb>

says that they were up stairs this Informt.<obscured></obscured>

said Susannah that the Silver Spoon wou'd not be Suffecient<lb></lb>
for him to make as much Money on as he wanted, that she<lb></lb>
then went to a Cubbart in her own Room and took out a pair<lb></lb>
of Silver Buckles and a Ring and gave to this Informt.<lb></lb>
says he then asked the said<obscured></obscured>
Susannah what they shou'd do in<lb></lb>
Case they were found out, to which she answered, her Masters<lb></lb>
Hostler lodged in the House, that she wou'd lay it upon him &<lb></lb>
make him pay the Money, says that in two or three days af<obscured></obscured>

this he this Informt. sold the said Spoon, the Buckles and Ring<lb></lb>
to Mr. Hemmins Silversmith in <rs type="placeName" id="LMSMPS50493_geo227">Piccadilly</rs>
