that she lay after be Tax'd with being with Child, but always Strongly Denyed it,<lb></lb>
and said it was nothing but a Swelling she had which the Family was Subject to, and<lb></lb>
that her Father Dyed of it, Says that the Family came out of Sussex about three Weeks<lb></lb>
aged, that soon afterwards this Informt. absorved that the said Ann Keppell was Smaller in<lb></lb>
the Waste that she had been, could not tell the meaning of it, but by taking Notice<lb></lb>
of the Bad where she lay, made<gap reason="illegible"></gap>

beleive that she had<gap reason="illegible"></gap>

her to be bigg with Child, that soon afterwards this Informt. perceived her to be Smatter<lb></lb>
in the Waste, and accordingly acquainted My Lady with what she had observed, that my<lb></lb>
Lady sent this Informt. for a Midwife, that as soon as the Midwife came into My Lady<lb></lb>
Dressing Room, the said <rs type="persName" id="LMSMPS50481_n75-2">Ann Kepell</rs>

Lord asked the said Ann Kepell whether she had a Child or not, to which she answered<lb></lb>
No, Upon which she was ordered to go up Stairs with the Midwife and three of<lb></lb>
the Maid Servants to be Examined, and whilct they were going up Stains, the said ann<lb></lb>
Kepell all of a Sudden Stept, and said that they need not give themselves any more<lb></lb>
trouble that it was,<obscured></obscured>
so, to which the Midwife said to her you have had a Child which<lb></lb>
she Answered Yes, Says that thereupon My Lady asked her where she had put it, she<lb></lb>

told My Lady in a Pond in the Park, and this Informt. further says that the said<lb></lb>

Examined, that upon her Examination she Confess'd in the presence and hearing of<lb></lb>
this Informt. that the Child was in Lock'd up in a Box in the Leullery and accordingly<lb></lb>
Delivered the Key to this Informt. where she found the Child all patisfyed<lb></lb>
Says that she likewise Confess'd it had been<obscured></obscured>
in the Box near afortonight, and that it was borndead,</p>
