and the Ins further saith that above Two o' Clock thy Monk<lb></lb>
the this Ins. went away for from the sd Richd Monk lodging & put<lb></lb>
out the fire and left the sd. Richd. & his Wife in Bed and worke<lb></lb>
supposed a Sleep And this Ins was Allermd abt. Seven or Eight<lb></lb>
O' Clock this Morning by an Outery that Monk wife was going<lb></lb>
to down herself she the said Hester having Attempted to drown herself before & thereon this Ins & the there Inf went in to<lb></lb>
the Lodgings to see the sd. <rs type="persName" id="LMSMPS50479_n220-3">Richd. Monk</rs>

his body in the bed and said a wound on the left side of his<lb></lb>
Face near his Ear which wound she bets. was the cause of<lb></lb>
his death as. she this Ins. left him as afsd. free from any<lb></lb>
wound and as well as he had been for some time before And<lb></lb>
upon the Examination of the sd. <rs type="persName" id="LMSMPS50479_n220-4">Hester Monk</rs>

that upon looking at the sd. Pohar than Morning she saw<lb></lb>
it Bent and further saith that when she left the sd. Mr<lb></lb>
Monk as afsd. she then left the sd. Poker stright as she<lb></lb>
verily bels. And this Inf. <rs type="persName" id="LMSMPS50479_n220-5">Susannah Crago</rs>

afsd. and the bound as assd. and heard the sd. Hester confess<lb></lb>
the Shilling him with the John aforesaid.</p>
