the Twenty First day of April in the Thirtieth year of the Reign<lb></lb>
of our Sovereign Lord George the Second King of Great Britain Etc.</p>
<p n="111">Whereas by an Act of parliament in the Seventeenth<lb></lb>
year of his present Majesty's Reign Commonly called the<lb></lb>
Vagrant Act among other things It is Enacted That all<lb></lb>
persons going about as Patent Gatherers or Gatherers of Alms<lb></lb>
under Pretence of loss by Fire or other Casualty or as Collectors for<lb></lb>
prisons Goals or Hospitals and all persons wandering abroad and<lb></lb>
Lodging in Alehouse Barns outhouses or in the open Air not<lb></lb>
giving a good account of themselves and all other persons<lb></lb>
wandering abroad and begging shall be deemed Rogues and<lb></lb>
Vagabonds within the true intent and meaning of the said<lb></lb>
Act and all persons who after having been punished as<lb></lb>
Rogues and Vagabonds and Discharged Shall again Committ<lb></lb>
any of the said Offences shall be Deemed Incorrigible Rogues</p>
<p n="112">That when any Rogues or Vagabonds are<lb></lb>
Apprehended and brought before any Justice such Justice is<lb></lb>
required to order all Such persons to be publickly whipt by the<lb></lb>
Constable or to send such offenders to the <rs type="placeName" id="LMSMPS50461_geo84">House of Correction</rs>
