And that the Landlord Mr. Geo had two half penny worths of his Oysters; and<lb></lb>
then this Depont. desired him to open him a penny worth which he refused<lb></lb>
Saying that he owed him a penny and had not paid him, But this Depont.<lb></lb>
declared that he never dealt with him in his Life and at the same time<lb></lb>
told him that he ought to have a lick on his head with Challenging of him<lb></lb>
with owing of him Money that he did not owe, To which the Oysterman<lb></lb>
taking up his Knife held it towards this Depont. at the same time saying<lb></lb>
what do you think of this in your Gutts, This Depont. further Saith that the<lb></lb>
Dewesed Eneas Tarney being then Sitting just by on a Coal box and Seeing of the<lb></lb>
knife planted agt. this Depont. Breast he then laid hold of the Oystermans hand<lb></lb>
and said to him what do you mean by drawing a Knife agt. a Naked Man<lb></lb>
Says then he saw the Oysterman Stuke the Deced with his other hand<lb></lb>
and the Deced Struck him again, And then they had a Scuffle together<lb></lb>
and they both fell and the Oysterman was Undermost Says then Mr. Geo<lb></lb>
the Master of the House took the Deced off of him and said to him Dout let<lb></lb>
me have any more Words here, to which the Deced made Answer what<lb></lb>
would you have me do, and Imediately fell down on his back & Expired<lb></lb>
without Saying any other word, Says then the Oysterman Attempted to<lb></lb>
make his Escape leaving his Oysters & hat behind him, But this<lb></lb>
Depont. then Stopt him, And that he then took hold of his Knife again<lb></lb>
and presented the same to this Depont. And sd. Dam yr. Blood you<obscured></obscured>
I will<lb></lb>
Stab you to But this Depont. took hold of his<gap reason="illegible"></gap>
wrist and Secured him<lb></lb>
and then took away the Knife, says that he was before the Justice<lb></lb>
and heard him say that the Deced had taken up an Iron Poker or Bar<lb></lb>
and gave him two black Eyes, But this Depont. Says that the Deced<lb></lb>
had no Weapon at all in his hands, And that he himself Gave him<lb></lb>
the black Eyes</p>
