I had yesterday a Message from Mr Pelham to<lb></lb>
desire you & the other Gentlemen of the Peace will<lb></lb>
not proceed to elect a new Keeper till the Duke of<lb></lb>
Newcastle's return from Hanover, which will be very<lb></lb>
soon. as I remember by an order of Court there<lb></lb>
must be a Sessions notice of electing an officer, so<lb></lb>
that it cannot be till December Sessions at soonest<lb></lb>
I am now in <rs type="placeName" id="LMSMPS50406_geo22">Berkshire</rs>
