That Mrs: Cavenagh the late <rs type="occupation" id="LMSMPS50378_occ51">Matron of the said house<lb></lb>
of Correction</rs>

is lately dead and the thereby the said<lb></lb>
place of Matron is become Vacant,</p>
<p n="128">That during the Gercise of the said Office of Matron by<lb></lb>
the said Mrs. Cavenagh the poor Objects of the said Prison<lb></lb>
under her Care have been greatly neglected and must<lb></lb>
have suffered much for want of Attendance and Necessarys<lb></lb>
if they had not been Voluntarily relieved by your Petr:<lb></lb>
at a very Considerable Expences</p>
<p n="129">That your Petr: has always found Beds and severall<lb></lb>
other Necessarys, at his ever Expence & several of which Beds<lb></lb>
have been greatly damaged or Spoiled for which your<lb></lb>
Petr: has not ever had any Recompence or Satisfaction</p>
<p n="130">That your Petr: humbly apprehends it will be of<lb></lb>
great Benefitt to the Prisoners the Objects, of the said Office<lb></lb>
to have a person proper to Execute the same resident in the<lb></lb>
said Prison which your Petitioner is ready and willing<lb></lb>
to provide should your Worships appoint your<lb></lb>
Petitioner to the Discharge of the said Office</p>
