and the residue of the Old timber and materialls over and above<lb></lb>
what shall be so assigned is to be allowed to the said Butler<lb></lb>
and Mills for their owne use, And wee doe further Certify that<lb></lb>
the said Sume of £680: is in our opinion a reasonable price for<lb></lb>
rebuilding the aforesaid part of the said Bridge, And that<lb></lb>
£226:13s:4d: part thereof was advanced and paid by Sr.<lb></lb>

at the time of their sealeing and<lb></lb>
delivery of the said articles, And that wee have covenanted<lb></lb>
by the said Articles that wee or the Treasurer of the Moneys<lb></lb>
to be raised for repaire of the publique Bridges of this County<lb></lb>
shall pay £226:13s:4d other part of the said £680: after the<lb></lb>
aforesaid part of the said Bridge shall be wholly planked<lb></lb>
and £226:13s:4d: residue thereof and in full of their</p>
<p n="223">demands after the compleating and finishing the rebuilding<lb></lb>
thereof in a good substantiall and workman like manner,<lb></lb>
And after that such Justices of the peace as shall be appointed<lb></lb>
by the Court to survey the said Worke shall have certifyed to<lb></lb>
the Court that the aforesaid part of the said Bridge hath<lb></lb>
been well and sufficiently rebuilt with good sound oaken<lb></lb>
timber, planks and all other materialls in a substantiall<lb></lb>
and workman like manner according to the intent of the<lb></lb>
aforesaid covenant of the said Workmen, who have alsoe<lb></lb>
each of them entered into a Bound unot us with surety for<lb></lb>
their performance of their covenants in the said Articles,<lb></lb>
And wee doe further Certify that it is our opinion and alsoe<lb></lb>
severall experienced Workmen have declared that it is<lb></lb>
their opinion that if twostarlings were erected<lb></lb>
and placed for secureing the aforesaid part of the said<lb></lb>
Bridge such starlings would very much condu<obscured></obscured>
<lb></lb>
preservation and duration thereof And that the expence<lb></lb>
and charge of erecting the said Starlings and finding<lb></lb>
timber and all other materialls for that purpose will<lb></lb>
amount to the further sume of ninety pounds or thereabouts over and<lb></lb>
above the Sume of £680: above mentioned All which<lb></lb>
Wee humbly submitt to the Judgment of this Court,</p>
