That yor peticonr: in September 1713 (and for severall years<lb></lb>
before) was Hemp dresser and <rs type="occupation" id="LMSMPS50150_occ13">servant</rs>

to Capt: Boreman deced<lb></lb>
late Governer of the house of Correccon for the said County,<lb></lb>
and there the happening a notorious Riott and Matiny by<lb></lb>
severall of the Convicts comitted from Newgate to the said prison<lb></lb>
at which time <rs type="persName" id="LMSMPS50150_n43-1">Edward Perry</rs>

the Turnkey was killed, yor petr.<lb></lb>
by aiding and assisting the said Capt: Boreman in Suppressing<lb></lb>
of the said Rioters and Mutiny and Endeavouring to prvent<lb></lb>
them and other prisonrs. from making their escape out of the <lb></lb>
said prison was in a very dangerous manner wounded by the<lb></lb>
said Convicts by receiving severall thrusts into his body<lb></lb>
with Swords and other armes and severall mtts and bruises<lb></lb>
upon his head and part of his Nose was bitt off by one of the<lb></lb>
said Convicts to the great danger of his life, of wch: wounds<lb></lb>
and bruises he languished for the space of two months and<lb></lb>
upwards as will be testified by Mr. Peace the surgeon and<lb></lb>
Mr. Browne the Apothecary and others.</p>
<p n="44">That yor petr. is a very poor man having a wife one child and<lb></lb>
his wife now with child and is only Hemp dresser to the said<lb></lb>
house of Correccon under the wages of Eight Shillings per<lb></lb>
week and utterly uncapable of paying the Surgeon and<lb></lb>
Apothecary who since the said Capt: Boremans death demand<lb></lb>
of yor petr: for the care of the said wounds and bruises the<lb></lb>

pounds Six Shillings and four pen<obscured></obscured>
without<lb></lb>
the aid and assistance of this Honoble: Court</p>

order herein for yor petr: releife in the prmisses as to<lb></lb>
