Whereas the First day of this Present Sessions upon reading<lb></lb>
the Humble Petition of the Constables Headbors. and other Antient<lb></lb>
Inhabitants of the Parish of <rs type="placeName" id="LMSMPS50008_geo125">St. Sepulchres</rs>

<interp inst="LMSMPS50008_geo125" type="type" value="undefined"></interp>
in this County for<lb></lb>
the Reasons therein contained Itt is Ordered that the said Constables<lb></lb>
and Headbors: should forthwith Erect and Sett up as Watch house near<lb></lb>
the Whipping post att <rs type="placeName" id="LMSMPS50008_geo126">Cowcrosse</rs>

in the said Parish att the Charge<lb></lb>
of the Inhabitants of the said Parish and that the same should<lb></lb>
be Erected with a Flat roofe and should not Exceed Five Foot in<lb></lb>
height above the Surface of the Street there Now upon Motion made<lb></lb>
this day unto this Court by Mr. Upton of Council with the said<lb></lb>
Inhabitants of the Hill att <rs type="placeName" id="LMSMPS50008_geo127">Cowcrosse</rs>

aforesaid Alledging that they<lb></lb>
had noe Notice of the said Petition and that the said Order was<lb></lb>
Obtained by Surprize And that the Erecting a Watch house upon<lb></lb>
the said Hill would be Prejudiciall to them in their Trades Itt was<lb></lb>
therefore prayed a day might be Appointed for the hearing of the<lb></lb>
said matter and that in the mean time the Execution of the said.<lb></lb>
Order for Erecting the said Watch house might be staid which<lb></lb>
this Court held reasonable And doth Order that the said<lb></lb>
Inhabitants of the Hill be heard touching the Premisses the<lb></lb>
Second day of the next Generall Sessions of the Peace to be held<lb></lb>

the said Order was Obtained upon Notice of this our Order<lb></lb>
