mare & of Long acquaintance came Cashe Crohen a Carrierg<lb></lb>
frequently haddon to her the Informt. house Situat upon the<lb></lb>
Highway, or Road side, And out of his poquet took a smal<lb></lb>
thinn Slitt Deal Box, wh. was bruised & Shatter'd a pieces Especia<lb></lb>
ally, the Lidd (& therefore was tyed together) wherein, there is<lb></lb>
a pair of broken Rose pendants wth. 8. Diamonds in each<lb></lb>
set in Silver; & 12. Shaking Bodkins 9. whereof had, a Diamond<lb></lb>
set in silver upon each of them; & off the others 3. Bodkins,<lb></lb>
3. Diamonds were rubb'd and loose in the sd Box, In all 28:<lb></lb>
Diamonds: And also another large Diamond, set also in Silver<lb></lb>
in a King, fix'd to a Bodkin like she other twelve This<lb></lb>

& that she sd Robert serle did further tell this Informt. That<lb></lb>
being Tapster In the Inn at the Sign of the Rosed Crown in<lb></lb>
Welwin aforesd, wch. was the Stage, whether the Waggon<lb></lb>
was to come & remain that night, she the sd Serle, wth. one<lb></lb>
Jonathan Hopkins Hostler, his fellow servant were sent to watch<lb></lb>
she sd waggon, & Goods, that were in the sd Ransacking thrown,<lb></lb>
& Scatt'red abroad, till the morning-Light; when, they might see<lb></lb>
to Reload them, wch. when they haddon, The (amongst others<lb></lb>
that Staid behind) looking, & keeping upon the Ground near,<lb></lb>
or about the place, where the waggon was ransack't & loaden<lb></lb>
again, amongst Scatter'd Straw found the sd Box, & Jewels.<lb></lb>
Moreover,This Informt. Saith, That he she sd. Robert<lb></lb>
Serle demanded of her, whether she sd Jewels were good<lb></lb>
for anything. And that, shoe answer'd him, (according to<lb></lb>
the skill (shee said) Shee had) truly, No. 1 and that Shee said<lb></lb>
shee thought, they were made for a play-house: shee<lb></lb>
says also,That he ask'd her, if shee would give him 3s. or<lb></lb>
£1. of Tobacco for them, & that shee reply'd That shee<lb></lb>
did not think them worth so much. This Informant<lb></lb>
further declares, & Says, That as they two were talking<lb></lb>
of the Matter, There came one Seignr. Guzman, aspamaind<lb></lb>
& Merchant (who had married a Kris woman of hersd)<lb></lb>
who told them, They were Diamonds, Whereupon, Shee<lb></lb>
says that Robert Serle second to be very much surpriz'd<lb></lb>
& Concern'd & said, that if they be Diamonds, They<lb></lb>
