"of Correction by the Court of Kings Bench and Reported<lb></lb>
"That he is in very Good health and Spirits that he<lb></lb>
"made no Complaint but sayed he had every<lb></lb>
"Comfort that a Person in his Circumstances could<lb></lb>
"reasonably expect.</p>

"Years in the House of Correction for Sedition which<lb></lb>
he had Intercepted one Letter was intended to be<lb></lb>
"sent to his Mother and the other to his Counsel<lb></lb>

"of a very dangerous nature Vizt.. That he desires<lb></lb>
"it to be made as Public as possible that if he dies here<lb></lb>
"it may be seen by what means he has been Murdered<lb></lb>
"in the Letter to his Counsel he wishes him to apply<lb></lb>
"for his Liberation, he admits that the Air is pure<lb></lb>
"that he is in no Danger of Infection but Complains<lb></lb>
"of the Scantiness of the Goal Allowance Whereupon<lb></lb>

"against the Governor or against the Rules and Orders<lb></lb>
"of the Prison and gave an Account directly Contradictory<lb></lb>
"to the intercepted Letters It appeared to the Committee by-<lb></lb>
"the Report of the Governor that Burks is very indolent<lb></lb>
"and filthy and negligent of his Person, and Orders were<lb></lb>
"given that he be Compelled if he will not otherwise do it<lb></lb>
"to attend to the Cleanliness of his Person as Conducive to health."</p>
