of the Reign of James the 1st. the Earl of Northumberland<lb></lb>

is a cut from the River Coln made<lb></lb>
in the Reign of King Henry the 7th. (and at that Kings<lb></lb>
Expence) as well for the conveniency of his Hawking as to<lb></lb>
serve the abess of Syon with water for a Corn Mill which<lb></lb>
river runs under the Said Bridge it will be a natural<lb></lb>
Question to ask hath he nothing to do with that Bridge</p>
