made of the Expence which will attend making such Alterations therein<lb></lb>
as may be necessary for that purpose.</p>

<p n="3478">Whereas by virtue of an Act of Parliament made<del>and passed</del>
in<lb></lb>
the Twelfth year of the Reign of His late Majesty King George the Second entitled<lb></lb>
"An Act for the more easy assessing collecting and levying County Rates" the Justices<lb></lb>
of the Peace in that part of Great Britain called <rs type="placeName" id="LMSMGO55610_geo2689">England</rs>
<interp inst="LMSMGO55610_geo2689" type="placeName" value="England"></interp>
<interp inst="LMSMGO55610_geo2689" type="type" value="undefined"></interp>
within the respective<lb></lb>
limits of their Commissions at their General or Quarter Sessions or the greater<lb></lb>
part of them then and there assembled having full power and Authority from<lb></lb>
time to time to make one general Rate or Assessment for such Sum or Sums of<lb></lb>
Money as the Justices in their discretion shall think sufficient to answer all<lb></lb>
and every the ends and purposes mentioned in the said Act. Now Forasmuch<lb></lb>
as it appeareath unto this Court that more than Three fourths of the Money of<lb></lb>
the last Rate made in January Session last being the last preceeding Rate<lb></lb>
hath been paid and expended to answer the ends and purposes mentioned<lb></lb>
in the said Act of Parliament and that it is necessary a considerable Sum of<lb></lb>
Money should be raised and a Rate made upon the Towns Parishes and<lb></lb>
Places in the said County for raising of Money to answer the several ends and<lb></lb>
purposes mentioned in the said Act of Parliament This Court upon<lb></lb>
consideration of the Premises are of Opinion and doth accordingly Order that<lb></lb>
a General Rate be made and assessed upon every Town Parish and Place<lb></lb>
in the said County for raising the Sum of Five Thousand Pounds which<lb></lb>
this Court doth think necessary to be raised for the purposes aforesaid This<lb></lb>
Court by virtue of the said Act of Parliament Doth Assess upon every Town<lb></lb>
Parish and Place hereinafter mentioned in the respective Hundreds and<lb></lb>
Divisions in the said <rs type="placeName" id="LMSMGO55610_geo2690">County of Middlesex</rs>

<interp inst="LMSMGO55610_geo2690" type="type" value="undefined"></interp>
and within the Jurisdiction and<lb></lb>
Authority of the Court according to the proportions they have been actually assessed<lb></lb>
towards raising of Money for the passing and relieving of Vagrants the respective<lb></lb>
