<p n="55">The following Letter received by the Clerk of the Peace from<lb></lb>
Mr Samuel Bennett Secretary to the Society instituted for giving effect<lb></lb>
to His Majestys Proclamation accompanying several Pamphlets being<lb></lb>
read in the following Words Vizt.</p>

<p n="58">"I am desired by the Society, instituted for giving effect<lb></lb>
"to His Majestys Proclamation to request that you will deliver one<lb></lb>
"of the Pamphlets, which you will receive with this Letter, to each of<lb></lb>
"the Gentlemen of the Grand Jury at the ensuring Assize. <rs type="occupation" id="LMSMGO55610_occ15">The Society</rs>

"also request that you will be so good as to send one of them to<lb></lb>

"wanted, I beg the favour of you to return the remainder.</p>

"Sepr 24th. 1789.</p>
<p n="61">The Clerk of the Peace informed the Court that he<lb></lb>
caused one of the Pamphlets to be delivered to each of the Gentlemen<lb></lb>
of the Grand Jury, and the remainder of them were distributed<lb></lb>
amongst the several magistrates present.</p>
