<p n="629">which the said Mr Howard apprehended might be purchased by<lb></lb>
the Trustees for the purpose of Building a House of Correction and<lb></lb>
which he conceived would be a much more proper place for such a<lb></lb>
Building than the Ground at present intended both on Account of<lb></lb>
its being a more Airy Situation and because it would admit of a<lb></lb>
more extensive Plan. And the Chairman having laid the said<lb></lb>
Plan before the Court for the Inspection of the Magistrates.</p>
<p n="630"> <note type="authorial" place="margin">Ground Viewed</note>
A Motion was made that the Magistrates do now adjourned<lb></lb>
to take a view of the said Ground and the same being agreed to</p>
<p n="631"> <note type="authorial" place="margin">Premiums adjudged</note>
The Justices proceeded to the said Ground and a View was<lb></lb>
had accordingly. The Justices being returned-The Court now<lb></lb>
proceeded to the Examination of the Plans delivered pursuant to<lb></lb>
the Advertisements for that purpose and to adjudge the Premiums<lb></lb>
to which they were entitled-whereupon it was</p>
<p n="632">Resolved that the Plan No. 2 be Sealed up by the Clerk of<lb></lb>
the Peace and returned to the Owner</p>
<p n="633">Resolved that the Plan No. 14 be Sealed up by the Clerk of<lb></lb>
the Peace and returned to the Owner</p>
<p n="634">Resolved that the Plan No 15 be Sealed up by the Clerk of<lb></lb>
the Peace and returned to the Owner</p>
<p n="635">Resolved that the Plan No. 16. be Sealed up by the Clerk of<lb></lb>
the Peace and returned to the Owner</p>
<p n="636">Resolved that the Plan No. 19 be Sealed up by the Clerk of<lb></lb>
the Peace and returned to the Owner</p>
<p n="637">A motion was made that the Plan marked "Custodia<lb></lb>
Salusque <obscured></obscured>
is entitled to the Premium of Thirty Guineas. agreed to</p>
<p n="638">A motion was made that the Plan marked R Brettingham<lb></lb>
is entitled to the Premium of Twenty Guineas and upon the Question<lb></lb>
being put upon the Shew of hands there appeared for the motion 8 against<lb></lb>
it 13 whereupon it was declared to be Carried in the Negative</p>
<p n="639">A motion was made that the Plan marked R is<lb></lb>
entitled to the Premium of Twenty Guineas and the same was agreed<lb></lb>
to.</p>
