acting in and for this County having given the Court here to understand<lb></lb>
that on Sunday the 24th. day of November last Mr <rs type="persName" id="LMSMGO55607_n2334-2">Henry Adams</rs>

the Contractor for conveying Vagrants in their and out of this County<lb></lb>
had sent to the <rs type="placeName" id="LMSMGO55607_geo1949">Parish of Acton</rs>
<interp inst="LMSMGO55607_geo1949" type="placeName" value="Parish of Acton"></interp>
<interp inst="LMSMGO55607_geo1949" type="type" value="undefined"></interp>
in their way to Denham several<lb></lb>
Vagrants among whom was a Female that had died upon the<lb></lb>
Road in her Passage thither <rs type="placeName" id="LMSMGO55607_geo1950">from Islington</rs>
<interp inst="LMSMGO55607_geo1950" type="placeName" value="from Islington"></interp>
<interp inst="LMSMGO55607_geo1950" type="type" value="undefined"></interp>
that at his request<lb></lb>
the Corners Inquest had sat upon the Body and had returned<lb></lb>
their Verdict natural Death from weakness and want of necessary<lb></lb>
and proper care or to that effect. That it appeared by the depositioner taken by the<lb></lb>
Coroner the woman was extremely ill when at Mr. Adams house<lb></lb>
at <rs type="placeName" id="LMSMGO55607_geo1951">Islington</rs>
<interp inst="LMSMGO55607_geo1951" type="placeName" value="Islington"></interp>
<interp inst="LMSMGO55607_geo1951" type="type" value="undefined"></interp>
that she had been lifted into the Cart into which she<lb></lb>
was to be conveyed with others by two men and that between<lb></lb>
<rs type="placeName" id="LMSMGO55607_geo1952">Tyburn Turnpike</rs>
<interp inst="LMSMGO55607_geo1952" type="placeName" value="Tyburn Turnpike"></interp>
<interp inst="LMSMGO55607_geo1952" type="type" value="undefined"></interp>
and Bays watts she died in the Cart that the<lb></lb>
driver being informed of the circumstance did neither stop or take the<lb></lb>
least notice thereof until he arrived at Acton when he applied to<lb></lb>
the Officer of the Parish for her Interment which coming to Majestys<lb></lb>
Knowledge he directed an application to be made to the Coroner an<lb></lb>
aforesaid That in the affair there appeared to him such a want<lb></lb>
humanity and attention in the person concerned in conveying<lb></lb>
Vagrants that he had determined and damed it his Duty to<lb></lb>
lay the matter before the Court for their consideration and <rs type="persName" id="LMSMGO55607_n2334-3">Edward<lb></lb>
Umpeville</rs>

refused to convene and Inquest for enquiry into this Affair on the<lb></lb>
Sunday altho' thereto required and for which neglect he had now<lb></lb>
received Reprimand) produced the depositions taken before him<lb></lb>
touching the death of the said female vagrant and which<lb></lb>
depositions confirming Mr Weggs Account Mr. Adams are <obscured></obscured>

and being present he was informed of the above charge and the sd<lb></lb>
depositions <del>abovementioned aforesaid being read <obscured></obscured>
taken before the<lb></lb>
Corner</del>

<p n="2335">It is Ordered that a Committee be appointed to enquire<lb></lb>
into the conduct of <rs type="persName" id="LMSMGO55607_n2335-1">Henry Adams</rs>

<interp inst="LMSMGO55607_n2335-1" type="surname" value="Adams"></interp>

touching the Late of Health of<lb></lb>
