Several of the Inhabitants of Shadwell having presented<lb></lb>
a petition to the last Session of the peace on account of the late<lb></lb>
outrages in your Neighbourhood, in the words following [the<lb></lb>
petition inserted here] which petition containing a charge<lb></lb>
against you of misconduct in your office as a Justice of<lb></lb>
peace and the court having Examined upon Oath into the<lb></lb>
truth of the Allegations therein contained I am directed to <lb></lb>
acquaint you thereof and to desire that you will be present<lb></lb>

otherwise Green Goose Fair within the Manor of Stepney in<lb></lb>

the Court that he was advised he had a right by Law to hold<lb></lb>
the said Fair at the place aforesaid but that notwithstand.g<lb></lb>
out of his great regard to the preservation of the public<lb></lb>
peace and from a willingness to oblige the Inhabitants of<lb></lb>
this County he was willing to suspend the Exercise of his<lb></lb>
said Right and accordingly in open court promise and<lb></lb>
agree without prejudice to the right and inheritance of him<lb></lb>
