this General Quarter Session of the Peace holden for the said County in Pursuance<lb></lb>
of the Statute made in the Seventeenth Year of the Reign of our Sovereign Lord King<lb></lb>
George the Second Intituled, An Act to amend and make more effectual the Laws<lb></lb>
relating to Rogues Vagabonds and other idle and disorderly Persons and to hours<lb></lb>
of Correction, Do hereby on this eighteenth day of January Instant, Order Limit<lb></lb>
appoint and direct That the Several Rates and Allowances Per Mile or otherwise<lb></lb>
to be made by any Justice or <rs type="occupation" id="LMSMGO55602_occ1669">Justices of the Peace</rs>
<interp inst="LMSMGO55602_occ1669" type="occupation" value="Justices of the Peace"></interp>
for the said County to any Constable<lb></lb>
or other Officer of the same County for the Passing Conveying or Maintaining of Rogues<lb></lb>
and Vagabonds to be passed or Conveyed as by the said Act is directed, shall be until<lb></lb>
farther Order of the Court of General Quarter or General Session of the Peace for the said<lb></lb>
County to the Contrary as follow, that is to Say, for maintaining of all and every such<lb></lb>
Rogues and Vagabonds the Rate or Allowance of Six pence for every such Person for<lb></lb>
four and twenty hours, and so after that Rate for a longer or Shorter time and for the<lb></lb>
passing or conveying of any such person or Persons whose Names are contained<lb></lb>
in one Pass conveyed or carried alone or together at one time or Turn by Cart or<lb></lb>
Horse Carriage the Rate of Six pence a Mile and no more, and for passing or<lb></lb>
Conveying of Such Person or Persons on foot under and less than Six pence a Mile<lb></lb>
according to the Discretion of the respective <rs type="occupation" id="LMSMGO55602_occ1670">Justices of the peace</rs>

for this County who<lb></lb>
shall sign any such Passes or Certificates of Allowance.</p>
<p n="1452">But if Several Passes shall be brought by any Constable or other Officer of the<lb></lb>
same County to any Justice of the Peace for the said County at one and the same<lb></lb>
time and the Persons contained in such Passes are to be passed and Conveyed to the<lb></lb>
same place, Then for the Conveying or passing such Person or persons whose Names<lb></lb>
are contained in such Passes under and less than Six pence a Mile according to the<lb></lb>
Number of Passes as the Justice in his Discretion shall think fit. But if any of<lb></lb>
