seized of a Copyhold messuage or dwelling house with a large<lb></lb>
yard adjoining thereunto situate on the Westside of the<lb></lb>

, And that the Foundation of the Piers of a new<lb></lb>

hath been lately laid in the said River, and<lb></lb>
the Workmen are proceeding to finish and compleat the<lb></lb>
same, as the Memorialist apprehends, under the Directions<lb></lb>
and Management of this Court, And that the Workmen in<lb></lb>
laying the Foundation of the Abuttment at the West End of<lb></lb>
the said Bridge have enclosed and taken from the<lb></lb>
Memorialist without his Permission a triangular piece of<lb></lb>
ground part of his said yard containing sixteen feet in Length<lb></lb>
from East to West, and six feet in breadth from North to<lb></lb>
South at the West End thereof, And that by the Position of<lb></lb>
the Piers of the said intended Bridge the Current of the Water is<lb></lb>
in a great Measure pointed against the Memorialists said Yard,<lb></lb>
which Yard by the Force and Violence of the Stream must<lb></lb>
inevitably be washed away Unless secured by a strong Wall,<lb></lb>
And that he is by the Enclosure of his said Ground dispossessed<lb></lb>
of part of his Property in the said Yard and by the Position of<lb></lb>
the said new Bridge may be deprived of the rest, Wherefore<lb></lb>
the Memorialist hopes this Court will be pleased to take the<lb></lb>
Premises into Consideration, and to make a reasonable<lb></lb>
Satisfaction for so much of his Ground as is already enclosed,<lb></lb>
and to give Directions for making a sufficient Wall to service<lb></lb>
the Remainder of the said yard from being washed away by<lb></lb>
the Flex of the River, Whereupon It is Ordered by this Court<lb></lb>
