<p n="1421">Pass, conveyed or carried alone, or together at one Time, or<lb></lb>
Turn, by Cart or Horse Carriage, the Rate of Six pence per<lb></lb>
Mile, and no more, and for passing or conveying of Such<lb></lb>
person or persons on Foot, under and less than Six pence<lb></lb>
per Mile, according to the Discretion of the respective Justices<lb></lb>
of the peace for this County, who Shall Sign any Such<lb></lb>
passes or Certificates of Allowance.<lb></lb>

think fit, and See good Cause to allow and order more or<lb></lb>
greater Rates for the Maintaining, Conveying and Carrying<lb></lb>
of any Such Person or Persons Sickness or Impotency, or<lb></lb>
by occasion of any other extraordinary Accident That then<lb></lb>
So much of the Said greater Rates as Shall exceed the Rates<lb></lb>
hereby before ascertained, Shall not be paid unless the Same<lb></lb>
be first communicated and certified to the Justices of the<lb></lb>

and be approved and allowed of by the Said Court of Session,<lb></lb>
And this Court do the farther Order, that this Order be forthwith<lb></lb>

and enforcing the Laws relating to Rogues, Vagabonds, and<lb></lb>
other idle and disorderly persons, and for reducing the<lb></lb>
Same into one Act of Parliament, by which Order the<lb></lb>
rates or allowances, for maintaining and passing of<lb></lb>
Rogues, Vagabonds or incorrigible Rogues are the Same<lb></lb>
as were formerly Settled by this Court for the maintaining<lb></lb>
& passing of Vagrants pursuant to a former Act of<lb></lb>
Parliament made in the twelfth year of the late<lb></lb>
Queen Ann, and are So to continue & remain untill the<lb></lb>
next General Quarter Session of the peace for this County<lb></lb>
And It having been alledged by Several Justices of the peace<lb></lb>
for this County that the Said Rates or allowances formerly<lb></lb>
Settled & Specifyed in the Said Order this day made are<lb></lb>
too Small, and that it would be very proper & reasonable<lb></lb>
