Ninth Year of the reign of King Charles the second<lb></lb>
for the better observation of the Lords Day commonly<lb></lb>
called Sunday, and all other Laws and Statutes<lb></lb>
against the Profanation of that Day, And that you<lb></lb>
do to the utmost of your power discourage and<lb></lb>
punish any breach of the Laws in that behalf,<lb></lb>

honble: the Lord Viscount Townshend one of his Majestyes<lb></lb>
Principal Secretarys of State (a Copy whereof is our<lb></lb>
herewith transmitted to you) I am directed to write<lb></lb>
this to acquaint you that you are desired forthwith<lb></lb>
to put in Execution the Statues and Laws therein<lb></lb>
mentioned, and to the utmost of your power to discourage<lb></lb>
and punish the Breach of the Same, as by the said<lb></lb>
Letter is enjoyned, I am Gentlemen</p>
