In pursuance of the Order hereunto annexed made at<lb></lb>
the General Quarter Sessions held the 18 of January 1722.<lb></lb>
Whereby it was referr'd to several Justices therein named,<lb></lb>
or any three or more of them to Examine and Settle the<lb></lb>
Accounts of the Several Treasurers High Constables, and all<lb></lb>
other Persons accountable to the Sessions Wee whose Names<lb></lb>
are Subscribed beingof the said Justices & Referrees<lb></lb>
having met together several times & proceeded as far as<lb></lb>
wee were Capable in the Matters referred to us, have Agreed<lb></lb>
upon the following Report, as the result of our Inquiries,</p>
<p n="599">Wee beg leave to begin with observing That all the Rates<lb></lb>
Rents & Collects Subject to the Inquiry of Sessions & accountable<lb></lb>
therein consist in the following particulars Vizt. The County Estate<lb></lb>
& Rents, Maimed Soldiers & Mariners Marshalsea Kings<lb></lb>
Bench & Hospitals House of Correction Vagrants, Bridges<lb></lb>

In Order to lay before you the Account of the County<lb></lb>
Rents, Wee directed the Clerk of the peace to draw up a<lb></lb>
particular of all the Estate belonging to the County wch. haveing<lb></lb>
reced accordingly from him, is annexed to this our Report,<lb></lb>
that it may be preserved for the Information & use of the Justices<lb></lb>
And having on this occasion inspected the Originall Grants from<lb></lb>
King James the 1st. of <rs type="placeName" id="LMSMGO40001_geo541">Hicks hall</rs>

at the Charge of the County, and therefore there being noe<lb></lb>
Direction in those Grants for any particular application,<lb></lb>
Wee are of Opinion that the Rents & profits may be applyed to the<lb></lb>

as also of his Disbursmts. as far as brought in Whereby it<lb></lb>
appears that he has reced out of the County Rents £403.10s.1d.<lb></lb>
by Costs paid £5. In all £403.10s.1d. & has Disbursed on Accot. of<lb></lb>
Law Charges and otherwise £449.16s.7d. so remaines due to</p>
