Whereas their Excellencys the Lords Justices have<lb></lb>
taken notice that there is a great Number of comon and<lb></lb>
publique Gameing Houses and other disorderly Houses and<lb></lb>
Night Houses in this County, where many loose Persons<lb></lb>
resort to and play at dice cards and other new invented<lb></lb>
unlawfull Games, whereby many Persons are defrauded<lb></lb>
of their substance, and divers riots affrays & blood sheds<lb></lb>
are comitted there, & such Houses are publique Nusances<lb></lb>
And the effectual Suppressing thereof hath been recomended<lb></lb>
by their Excellencys to his Majestys Justices of the<lb></lb>
Peace for this County Now upon Information given<lb></lb>
unto this Court that Several Justices of the Peace<lb></lb>
for this County have assembled and met together<lb></lb>
to put the Laws in Execution against Persons who<lb></lb>
keep and also against the Persons who Frequent<lb></lb>
Such publique Gameing Houses and play at unlawfull<lb></lb>
Games, and for that purpose the said Justices have<lb></lb>
repaired to such Gameing Houses in Order to See<lb></lb>
what unlawfull Games were therein used, and<lb></lb>
what Persons were playing thereat, to the end they<lb></lb>
might apprehend and prosecute the Persons who<lb></lb>
keep the said Gameing Houses and also the Persons<lb></lb>
resorting thereto to use Such unlawfull Games, but<lb></lb>
that the said Justices have not been able to enter<lb></lb>
into the said Gameing Houses and Gameing Rooms<lb></lb>
therein to discover the said Offenders for that the<lb></lb>
Keepers of Such Gameing Houses have Strong<lb></lb>
Hatches to their Street doors and also to the doors of<lb></lb>
their Inner Rooms with Sharp Iron Spikes over the<lb></lb>
said Hatches, which Hatches are kept fast locked &<lb></lb>
are guarded by Soldiers who refuse to let the said<lb></lb>
Justices of Peace or any Constable enter the said<lb></lb>
Gameing Houses or Inner Roomes, whereby they<lb></lb>
are obstructed from entring the same, & putting<lb></lb>
the said Laws in Execucon, This Court for the<lb></lb>
obtaining redress in the premisses and to the<lb></lb>
intent that the Offenders above mentioned may</p>
