Citation directed to the Prisoner to bring in the Probate of the<lb></lb>
said Will and prove the same by Witnesses which Proceeding this<lb></lb>
Deponent is advised and believes was necessary to be had<lb></lb>
before an Indictment could be properly preferred against the<lb></lb>

seven hundred and eighty and put on board His Majesty's<lb></lb>
Ship the Nemesis this Deponent thereupon wrote a Letter<lb></lb>
to Messr. Binsteed and Greetham <rs type="occupation" id="LMSLPS15096_occ77">Attorneys</rs>

on the ninth day of the said<lb></lb>
February acquainted the Solicitor of <rs type="placeName" id="LMSLPS15096_geo163">the Admiralty</rs>

by Letter<lb></lb>
that they had found out the Peace Officer who impressed the<lb></lb>
said deceased and believed they should be able in a few<lb></lb>
days to hear something of his relations And this Deponent<lb></lb>
further saith that the said Binsteed and Greetham having<lb></lb>
by another Letter dated the twenty first day of the said<lb></lb>
February acquainted the Solicitor of the Admirally that they<lb></lb>
could not after the most diligent inquiry learn any thing of the<lb></lb>
relations of the said Griffiths this Deponent thereupon drew up<lb></lb>
an Advertisement for the next of Kin of the said deceased<lb></lb>
to apply to this Deponent at his House in Great Marlborough<lb></lb>
Street and specifying in such Advertisement the several<lb></lb>
Ships on board which the said deceased had served from<lb></lb>
the time of his so as aforesaid being impressed to the time of<lb></lb>
his death and inserted the same in the Morning and<lb></lb>
Evening Newspapers but saith that no person hath yet<lb></lb>
applied in consequence thereof to his knowledge and belief<lb></lb>
