says that in the Night of Monday the 3rd or early in the Morning<lb></lb>
of the 4th of September instant his House at <rs type="placeName" id="LMSLPS15092_geo1262">Holborn Bridge</rs>

aforesaid was burglariously broke open and a Quantity of<lb></lb>
Silver Plate several Watches and other Property of this Informants,<lb></lb>

Dining Room of the said House; that between 3 & 4 o'Clock<lb></lb>
in the Morning he was awaked by the noise of his Fathers<lb></lb>
Dog, when he saw a Man entering as the Dining Room<lb></lb>
Window that when he entered he went to a Marble Stab<lb></lb>
took a pair of silver Salts and handed them out to<lb></lb>
a second Person (as this Informant believes) that stood<lb></lb>
without the Window; that the said Man then went into<lb></lb>
the Kitchen from whence he returned and looked towards<lb></lb>
this Informants bed. That he then went down stairs<lb></lb>
shortly after which (when a Waggon was going by) this<lb></lb>
Informant heard the Shop door open. That he then heard<lb></lb>
the Plate rattling after which the said Man came up<lb></lb>
twice into the Dining Room again but did not stay;<lb></lb>
that upon his going down the Third time and leaving</p>
